Meet up to explore Xtend 5G NTN — our ESA-backed independent satellite connectivity solution.
Meet Forsway at AfricaCom 2025 for the latest in satellite connectivity solutions
Major step forward in Forsway’s mission to advance 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technology and expand satellite-based broadband connectivity.
Together with partners are unveiling a groundbreaking hybrid VoDoS (Video-on-Demand-over-Satellite) solution that seamlessly blends one-to-all 5G Broadcast delivery and edge-caching.
Meet Bengt Jonsson and Sanjiv Kainth at IBC for comprehensive discussions on Forsway’s benchmark Xtend 5G solution and more.
Gustafsson brings extensive experience from numerous board roles in both the public and private sectors, along with a strong track record in developing and delivering advanced space services on the global market.
The project benefits from the support of ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) programme.
Forsway has secured a significant funding contract of 2.3 million euros from the European Space Agency (ESA), with additional support from the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA).
ESA is working with Forsway, a provider of cost-efficient hybrid satellite terrestrial solutions and equipment for broadband connectivity, to develop a two-way/ hybrid satellite connectivity system.
I projektet, Xtend 5G, kommer Forsway att ta fram en nästa generations 5G NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) tvåvägs / hybridsystem för uppkoppling överallt via både satellit- och landbaserad infrastruktur
