Forsway Achieves Key ESA Milestone in Xtend 5G Satellite Connectivity Project
Major step forward in Forsway’s mission to advance 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technology and expand satellite-based broadband connectivity.
Major step forward in Forsway’s mission to advance 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technology and expand satellite-based broadband connectivity.
Forsway has secured a significant funding contract of 2.3 million euros from the European Space Agency (ESA), with additional support from the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA).
ESA is working with Forsway, a provider of cost-efficient hybrid satellite terrestrial solutions and equipment for broadband connectivity, to develop a two-way/ hybrid satellite connectivity system.
I projektet, Xtend 5G, kommer Forsway att ta fram en nästa generations 5G NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) tvåvägs / hybridsystem för uppkoppling överallt via både satellit- och landbaserad infrastruktur
In the new project, Xtend 5G, Forsway will build a next generation 5G NTN two-way/hybrid satellite connectivity system.
Forsway today announced a new partnership with Zinwell. A leading provider of digital cable, satellite, wireless equipment, 5G and IoT products and more, Zinwell has been chosen as Forsway’s hardware R&D and manufacturing partner for its next generation platform of Forsway F-60 satellite terminals.
