Chairman of Forsway since May 2023, and Vice Chairman from 2021-2023, Bengt has a rich Forsway history, also holding the position of Managing Director and owner from 2006-2008. Today as Piwas company owner, he provides strategic planning, go-to-market, and management consulting services. Bengt brings a strong technical background, extensive financial insight and over 25 years of international experience to the table within the Media & Entertainment Tech industry. have extensive experience in global sales in the tech industry and have helped companies enter markets in South and Southeast Asia. Other projects includes price strategy and negotiations (B2B).

At market leader Irdeto, he held multiple senior positions including SVP Solutions, Head of global product management, solution architects, product marketing within video entertainment business development and ecosystem management, SVP Global Sales & Services – as Head of the global Media Sales and Services Organization including Sales, Presales, Inside sales, Sales Support, Delivery and Support functions. 7 years, VP Sales Asia based in Beijing – Head of the APAC Sales organization including Presales in the region as well as Director positions in Irdeto China, Korea and India.

His rich background includes General Manager, Sales Asia, at Thomson, Beijing, responsible for Thomson STC (Satellite, Terrestrial and Cable) STB business in the region with local organizations in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Australia, Korea, and China. In addition, General Manager and CEO at Nokia (later Thomson/Technicolor) CITIC Digital Technology, as Managing Director for a Joint Venture owned by Nokia (later Thomson/Technicolor) & CITIC (a major investment bank in China) and ABS (Academy of Broadcasting Science (a government body, responsible for digital TV development in China).

Bengts 13 years at Nokia include General Manager, Sales Asia, Beijing. He also held the position of CFO, based in Oslo, Norway, with responsibility for the financial & administrative systems and organization, deputy country manager.
