Forsway Odin F-60
High-Performance Hybrid Satellite Router for Robust Connectivity
The Odin F60 and F-60 LTE are high-performance, cost-efficient hybrid satellite routers designed to deliver broadband connectivity over a combination of satellite and terrestrial networks. It combines DVB-S2(X)/ACM satellite reception with multiple terrestrial return channels to deliver reliable, cost-effective connectivity.
Enables robust, satellite-based internet services that allow operators to boost end user connectivity in areas with insufficient or low capacity
Hybrid Connectivity
Combines DVB-S2(X)/ACM satellite reception with LTE, mobile USB dongles, and ADSL or Ethernet-connected return channels for reliable hybrid broadband connectivity.
High-Performance
Supports satellite throughput up to 100 Mbit/s, integrated Wi-Fi 5 Wave 2, and advanced networking for broadband services.
LTE & Edge Computing
The Odin F-60 LTE edition includes an integrated Cat 4 LTE modem, SIM card slot, expandable SD card storage, and support for containerised edge workloads distributed via satellite multicast.
Simple Deployment
Factory-configured for automatic satellite provisioning via Mimir, with satellite parameters automatically pushed to the terminal during connection.
Operator benefits
- No need to deploy additional network infrastructure furnishing significant cost savings
- Enables rapid deployment of robust, satellite-based internet services
- Supplies competitive VSAT alternative – no need for satellite communications license and sophisticated installation
